I don't use Windows (or I want to use Luckode online or don't want to install the program). How do I use it on platforms other than Windows?
Macintosh
NOTE! Scratch 1.4 is ONLY compatible with MacOS X 10.4 to 10.14 since it is a 32-bit program. MacOS X 10.15 and onwards do NOT support 32-bit programs. This option does not work on iPads or iPhones.
To use Luckode on a Macintosh computer:
- Download the Mac version of Scratch 1.4 here and follow the instructions on the website.
- Download one of the standalone images for Luckode, preferably the latest version.
- Copy the Luckode image file into the Scratch 1.4 application.
- Rename the .changes file (it should be called Scratch.changes) to the same name of the .image file you put in the app. If you downloaded Luckode 4.1's image file, you would rename it to Luckode41.changes, for 3.0, it would be Luckode30.changes, and so on so forth.
- If you done the steps correctly, you should be able to use Luckode on a Mac!
Online (using SqueakJS)
NOTE! This option requires an active iternet connection. Projects you save online might be cleared due to the usage of cookies, which save data on to your computer.
To use Luckode online:
- Open SqueakJS's run page here.
- Download one of the standalone images for Luckode, preferably the latest version.
- Import the file into the web page.
- If you've done the steps correctly, it should load perfectly fine!

Is Luckode harmful?
No. Luckode is not a virus, malware, spyware, or anything harmful. It is a Scratch modification. If your antivirus detects it as one, check your download copy. If you're REALLY skeptical that it is a virus, upload it onto Virustotal. Remember, the only official supported places to install Luckode are on this page, itch.io, and GameJolt. MediaFire download support has ceased after Luckode 8.0.
